Question about selling

Yes, our team assists the client in all phases from beginning to end, including creating
plans, getting PERC tests taken care of, soil engineering, obtaining permits, and designing
your new custom manufactured home.

A custom manufactured home is a dwelling built off-site in a controlled factory setting and then transported and assembled on a homeowner’s land. It allows for personalized design and customization according to specific preferences and needs.

All homes are built off-site but are built to different codes and regulations. A modular home
is factory-built in large, three-dimensional pieces known as modules and are assembled and
finished off on site to a permanent foundation. Modular homes follow the same state and
local building codes as site-built houses. A manufactured home, like a modular home, is
built in a factory and depending on their size are transported to the building site in one
piece, known as a single-wide, or several pieces, known as double-wide or triple-wide.
Unlike modular homes, manufactured homes are attached to a permanent chassis. This is a
metal frame that can be attached to wheels; that’s where the term “mobile home” comes
from. The chassis cannot be removed, but you can remove or cover up the wheels. Most
manufactured homes today have the wheels and axles removed and the house is attached
to a permanent foundation. A manufactured home is built to national building standards set
by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), called the HUD code.
The term “mobile home” only applies to factory-constructed homes built prior to June 15,
1976. That’s when the HUD Code went into effect. The HUD Code sets the federal standards
for safety and durability of manufactured homes.
